    PHI THETA KAPPA

    Purpose:

    The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."     Purpose:

    Members of Clackamas Community College Students for Life work to save lives threatened by induced abortion, euthanasia and destruction of human embryos for research. In furtherance of these goals, members seek to promote respect for life at Clackamas Community College and in the surrounding community, to educate on life issues, to help those in need so that life is a promising choice and to work with others who share common goals.

    Unidos

    Purpose:

    The purpose of this club is to unite the Latino/Chicano student body without limit or exclusion of student or faculties’ ability to join. To inform the community of Latina/Chicana/Hispanic American History, Culture and promote diversity in the area. To serve the community at large, and especially provide service to the Latino community, on a volunteer basis, as time and academic obligations permit. To expand financial resources and/or support, solely for academic purposes, of the student membership by conducting fundraising on and of the college campus. To provide financial support, by the means of fundraising, to individual students and/or student organization, strictly in relation to academic progress.

    Veteran's Club

    Purpose:

    To provide a social group to help veterans adjust to and become successful in civilian and college life; to promote college spirit and to establish and maintain fellowship amongst veterans and students abroad the CCC campus; to assist with the dissemination of valuable information to veterans; to integrate veterans into social and campus activities; to organize worthwhile projects and events pertaining to veterans and their needs. Membership is open to students, faculty, administrators, alumni, staff/employees of Clackamas Community College, to include spouses and dependents of veterans. We are currently working on raising funds for activities such as conferences, fun activities, Veterans Book Voucher Program, and to help the Foundation fund the military families Scholarship Endowment.
