     Welcome to Our Accreditation Website!

graduation line outsideClackamas Community College is proud to have achieved and maintained formal accreditation through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Our community college is recognized as
an institution with high standards for performance, integrity, and quality to merit the confidence of the educational community and the public.

This accreditation, from an independent, non-profit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, represents our voluntary and conscientious commitment to quality assurance and institutional improvement. Our most recent accreditation review in Fall, 2012, resulted in five commendations, several compliments, four concerns, and four recommendations for improvement.

The coming months will find us preparing for our next accreditation visit in Fall, 2015. We are excited about the next phase of our continuous improvement process while providing quality education to meet the needs of students and the community.

On behalf of faculty and staff at Clackamas Community College, we extend deep gratitude to all faculty, staff, students, volunteers, area businesses, foundation donors, and board and community members who have made our college what it is today. In the spirit of ongoing learning and growth, we look forward to the coming years as opportunity to work together to further excel with our mission.

With gratitude, CCC's Accreditation Steering Committee
