Obtain your free ID card in Roger Rook Hall. Residents of Clackamas County may obtain a borrower's card at the Library's Circulation Desk. Checkout Period Circulating Books: 3-week checkout (one 2-week renewal) Circulating CDs and DVDs: 1-week checkout (one 1-week renewal) Periodicals (magazines and newspapers) and reference books cannot be checked out. Borrowing Limits Books and compact discs are limited to a total of 10 items at one time, with no more than 5 on a given subject. Renewals Library materials can be renewed once, either in person, online or by phone at 503-594-6323. Circulating books may be renewed for an additional 2 weeks; circulating CDs and DVDs may be renewed for 1 additional week. Overdue/Fines/Lost Items Policy Circulating books: 25 cents per day Circulating CDs and DVDs: $1.00 per day Hourly Reserve materials: 25 cents per hour Daily and Weekly Reserve materials: $1.00 per day Overdue notices will be sent to the patron's email address on the following schedule : First notice is sent to the patron one day after the due date. A 5 day grace period begins on this day for regular circulating materials. There is no grace period for Reserve materials. Second notice is sent 7 days later. Replacement bill is sent 14 days after the second notice for regular circulating materials. Please note: Overdue, fines and billing policies vary for Reserve materials. Any item more than 3 weeks overdue will be declared "lost" and the patron will be charged the price of the item plus a $5 processing fee. If the patron is a CCC student a registration hold will be placed on the student's record. This will prevent the student from registering for classes or obtaining official transcripts until the fines are paid. Copying Facilities 2 copy machines are available for making copies at 10 cents per page. The machines will accept $1 bills, coins, and credit cards.
