• New Student Advising

AdvisingWelcome to Clackamas Community College! Get answers and register for your classes at a New Student Advising Session (NSA). In these 2-hour sessions we will help you get acquainted with the College and select your first term courses, show you how to navigate your student myClackamas account, and how to register for classes. Click on the "Sign Up" link at the bottom of the page to sign up for an NSA session.

(these words link to http://www2.clackamas.edu/nsa/calendar.aspx but I would rather we bring it along to the new NSA page and insert on the bottom making one page instead of two. Can we do this? )

If we insert the calendar, below the calendar it can read:

*If the session that it most convenient for you is full, you may wish to arrive 20-30 minutes early and be put on the waitlist. We do our best to accommodate walk-ins, and space depends on the number of students who do not show for their chosen time.

  • In these sessions, we will cover:

    • How to navigate your myClackamas account
    • Understanding your degree requirements
    • Student Success and additional College resources
    • How to register for your classes
Important College information that students should understand

    What to bring:

    • Your placement test scores, SAT/ACT, or unofficial transcripts from an accredited college or university.
      • Please visit the Testing Center for more information about placement testing and SAT/ACT score conversions
    • Pens and/or pencils -- something to take notes with
    • A laptop if you have one.
