    How do I choose a major or a career? What if I have a crisis that affects my studies? How do I access campus resources?

    Skills for College Success

    If you need guidance for educational or personal issues, CCC offers professional counselors to provide assistance. Counselors at CCC help you develop career goals and design a path of education or training to help you reach those goals.

    Short-term personal counseling and referrals to community resources are provided to students to help identify and overcome barriers that are interfering with success. Some of the topics a college counselor may be able to help with include:

    • Career exploration
    • Choosing a college major
    • Time and stress management
    • Personal issues impacting success
    • Accessing campus resources
    • Overcoming barriers to learning

    Personal and Career counseling appointments are available by contacting the Student Success Center, Oregon City campus, at 503-594-3475. For Harmony campus appointments call 503-594-0623.

    College Success Courses 

    CCC counselors also teach many Human Development elective courses that focus on personal growth related to success, both in college and in life. 

    Check the current CCC Schedule of Classes for Human Development courses being offered this term. Classes start throughout the term and many are offered in weekend or online format.

CRT’s Breakaway Series Presents ‘The Call’

Clackamas Repertory Theatre continues its sixth annual, semistaged contemporary play series, “Breakaway,” with performances of “The Call” on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22. The featured plays are by American playwrights and all are area premieres.  Full Story

Metro Grant Supports Student Transportation Options

Clackamas Community College will share in $2.1 million in federal grant awards from Metro aimed at making it easier for area residents to walk, bike, take transit and share rides. CCC will receive $85,000 from the Regional Travel Options grant to support the Student Transportation Initiative that will help students find new transportation options to get to class. Full Story

The Tablao de Rosas flamenco group will perform at Clackamas Community College on Wednesday, March 4, at noon in the Gregory Forum. The performance is free and open to the public.  Full Story
