CCC Seeks Applicants for Budget Committee

OREGON CITY - The Clackamas Community College Budget Committee is seeking two new citizen representatives, one from Milwaukie and one from the Estacada and Colton area.

The budget committee meets in the spring to deliberate on the proposed budget and approve it, before sending it to the board of education for approval.

The budget committee includes the CCC Board of Education and seven volunteers appointed by the board for three-year terms. Budget committee members represent each of the college's six zones. The current openings are for Zone 1 (Milwaukie) and Zone 6 (Estacada and Colton). Applicants must be registered voters and reside in the zone for which they are applying. Applications must be received by Nov. 10 and committee members will be announced Dec.13.
