Tony Morales

It was a long journey for Tony Morales to graduate from college.  After a life that included personal loss and homelessness, Tony began to turn his life around when he was 33 years old. He earned his GED at PCC, a huge accomplishment for Tony.

Tony had always been drawn to water and applied for a job in the Portland Water Bureau. They told him to go to Clackamas Community College to study Water and Environmental Technology.

In the Water and Environmental Technology program at CCC, Tony excelled and was awarded four scholarships. In addition a certificate and degree at CCC, he earned five state and national certifications and licenses to treat water and wastewater in the U.S. He now has a job in water services in Astoria.
