CCC Wilsonville Presents ‘Artists of Albany’ Exhibition

Clackamas Community College Wilsonville campus will present Artists of Albany, a showing of the work of five artists, from Jan. 11 through Feb. 24. The artists represented in the show are winners of the Albany Fine Arts Show and are accomplished in a variety of media.

Artists participating in the show are:

Lynn Powers, producer of more than 80 films and co-owner of Creative Catalyst Productions, Inc., has received local and national recognition for her award-winning traditional watercolor portraits, stylized florals and posters.

Mike Rangner’s emotive oil paintings are recognized throughout the Pacific Northwest for their treatment of light, value and shape.

Irene Van Dusen specializes in award-winning pastel landscapes designed to capture the pleasure and serenity of the sites she visits

Billie Moore, an active artist since childhood and current member of the Albany Arts Commission, has worked with stained glass and other craft media, but now works primarily in oil, depicting people, flora and fauna, landscapes and street scenes.

Michael Moore — an art authority who has served with the Corvallis Art Guild, Northwest Pastel Society, and Albany Arts Commission — works exclusively with pastels, painting primarily landscapes, but also florals, animals and buildings.

An artists’ reception will take place on Saturday, Jan. 12th, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the CCC Wilsonville campus, 29353 SW Town Center Loop East, Wilsonville. For more information, please call 503-594-0940.
