Student Art Show Opens in Alexander Gallery

 The annual Student Art Show at Clackamas Community College opened this week in the Alexander Gallery. The exhibition, showcasing the finest work by students at the college over the last year, continues through Friday, June 7.

The diverse body of work features a variety of subject matters and explores many mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, design, photography and digital media.

The Alexander Gallery is located in the Niemeyer Center at CCC. It is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For additional information, please contact Kate Simmons at 503-594-3032 or kates@clackamas.edu.

CRT’s Breakaway Series Presents ‘The Call’

Clackamas Repertory Theatre continues its sixth annual, semistaged contemporary play series, “Breakaway,” with performances of “The Call” on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22. The featured plays are by American playwrights and all are area premieres.  Full Story

Metro Grant Supports Student Transportation Options

Clackamas Community College will share in $2.1 million in federal grant awards from Metro aimed at making it easier for area residents to walk, bike, take transit and share rides. CCC will receive $85,000 from the Regional Travel Options grant to support the Student Transportation Initiative that will help students find new transportation options to get to class. Full Story
