Craft Fair

The annual CCC craft fair and gingerbread contest will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days in the Community Center. This event is open to the public and is sponsored by CCC’s Student Leadership. For more information call 503-594-3040 or email mbaker@clackamas.edu.

Chrysalis: Women Writers

Local author Pat Lichen guides women writers of all levels through discussions of their work. Chrysalis meets from noon to 2 p.m. in the Literary Arts Center, room 220 in Rook Hall. For information, call 503-594-3254

Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Niemeyer Center. Directed by Lars Campbell. Cost is $5.

Mainstream Vocal Jazz Concert

Enjoy a night of great jazz singing directed by Kathleen Hollingsworth. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Leroy Anderson Room, Niemeyer Center. Donations accepted. For more information, please call 503-594-6299.

Holiday Arrangement Workshop

Create herb gifts and holiday arrangements in this four-hour Saturday workshop led by CCC horticulture instructors. The class runs from 8 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in Clairmont, room 117. The cost of the workshop is $45. For registration information, call 503-594-3292.

Christmas by Candlelight Concert

Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Milwaukie Lutheran Church, 3810 S.E. Lake Road, Milwaukie. CCC’s Chamber Singers will perform with guests: Unistus, Mainstream and members of the Sinfonia Concertante Orchestra. Musical works to honor Stefan Minde. Donations accepted. Bond Citizen Oversight Committee to Meet

The initial meeting of the Bond Projects Citizen Oversight Committee will take place on Wednesday, April 22, at Clackamas Community College. The committee will provide oversight to the implementation of ballot measure 3-447, approved by voters in November.  Full Story

Board Resolution Authorizes Bond Sale

The Board of Education at its April meeting passed a resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds to finance capital construction at Clackamas Community College. Voters in the district in November approved a $90 million bond measure to update and modernize college facilities. Full Story
