President's MessageIt’s a sign of the times — every day there is more news about the economy. Remember that Clackamas Community College is here to help you through the down economy. Our job is to help put Oregonians back to work. Our Workforce Services Department is helping people every day with free career counseling, resúmé assistance, job placement and training for new jobs. We have many flexible offerings to fit your schedule, and financial assistance is often available. And don’t forget we also offer counseling and classes to keep your business vital through our Small Business Development Center. We’re here to prepare you for the changing economy. Things will improve, and when they do, you’ll be ready. We are making changes in our class scheduling summer term to help you save time and money. Our new “SummerTrack” scheduling gives students the opportunity to complete up to 15 credits — a complete term — in an accelerated format. I am personally looking forward to graduation ceremonies at CCC in June. As hundreds of students earn degrees, certificates, GEDs and diplomas, it reminds me of the good work we do to improve the lives of our students, our community and our state.
