SERVICE TO COMMUNITY INTERNSHIPS
All majors, 2.5 GPA, 9 or more credit hours.
Based on the program’s mission, “To build outstanding leaders with a lifetime dedication to giving back service to the community.” This program is designed to place students in a Clackamas County non-profit agency for three terms.
Requirements: To be eligible, interns must be available to work a minimum of 50 hours per term. Awards will be made upon successful completion of all requirements. Selections will be made on the basis of a 300-500 word essay describing your desire to serve your community. Final selection determined by an interview.
TERENCE & LONNIE SHUMAKER
Family Resource Center programs, 2.0 GPA, 6 or more credit hours.
Requirements: Must have successfully completed or have the potential to successfully complete one of the following programs: Life & Career Options, Pre-Employment Training, Young Parent Opportunity, Bridges or Gerontology Certificate and are registering for any program at CCC. Should no student from the FRC program apply, proceeds should be used for students applying to career/technology programs.

Requirements: All qualifications being equal, preference will be given to female math major applicants.

Requirements: New or returning students who are working parents wanting to enhance their life through education.

Microelectronics majors, 2.5 GPA, 6 or more credit hours.
Requirements: Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a professional in the field.
ELTON & CAROL STORMENT
Nursing and Allied Health majors, 2.0 GPA, 9 or more credits.
Requirements: Recipient must be formally admitted into nursing or one of the Allied Health programs.
JAMES STREETER MEMORIAL
All majors, Transfer Degree programs, 3.0 GPA
Full tuition scholarship that will pay for tuition, books and fees. May be renewed for second year if 3.0 GPA is maintained.
Requirements: Open to transfer degree attending or wanting to attend CCC. Current students must have a 3.0 GPA, provide a minimum of three letters of recommendation, two of which must be in academic field, and include an additional essay of no more than 100 words demonstrating the candidate’s potential for contribution to the community with a commitment to social conscience and the promotion of learning. This essay is in addition to the one required for the scholarship application.
SUNNY HILLS GARDEN CLUB
Horticulture major, 2.0 GPA, 6 or more credit hours
Tuition assistance for a Horticulture student.
SUNSTONE CIRCUITS FUND
Business or Computer Science majors, 2.5 GPA, 12 or more credit hours.
Requirements: Recipient must show financial need.
For the year 2010/2011 students must be CCC first-year students.
SWINDELLS INCENTIVE SCHOLARSHIP
All majors, 2.5 GPA, 6 or more credit hours.
Students get up to $2,000 in tuition assistance per year.
Requirements: New or returning students who are Oregon residents and who plan to enroll for at least six credit hours. Preferences will be given to students who are self-reliant, who have overcome obstacles, and who are at risk of not continuing their education without financial assistance.
THRIFTWAY
Tuition assistance to a student involved in the CCC athletic program. 2.5 GPA, 12 or more credit hours.
CCC Athletic Department will select the recipient.
JANE TOMLIN ESTACADA COMMUNITY MEMORIAL
All majors, 2.0 GPA, 6 or more credit hours.
Tuition assistance scholarship.
Requirements: New or returning students who are current residents of Estacada or are Estacada High School graduates.
THE WALLWORK FAMILY
Nursing majors, Clackamas County residents, 3.0 GPA, 12 or more credit hours.
Requirements: First-year or second-year nursing students. Must be current residents of Clackamas County. Students must demonstrate past or current commitment to community service. Financial need will be considered.
WILLAMETTE FALLS HOSPITAL AUXILIARY
Nursing majors, 3.0 GPA, 12 or more credit hours.
Requirements: First-year or second-year nursing students. One of the letters of recommendation submitted must be from a professional in the medical field. Financial need will be considered.
WILSONVILLE GARDEN CLUB
Horticulture majors, 2.5 GPA, 6 or more credit hours.
Requirements: Two letters of recommendation one of which is written by a professional in the horticulture field. Recipient will be required to attend one Wilsonville Garden Club function annually, time and place to be coordinated between the student and Wilsonville Garden Club.
