Scholarship Information for High School Seniors *Attending High Schools in the Service District for Clackamas Community College

Welcome to the Clackamas Community College Scholarship application process. Below you will find the criteria for the three (3) high school scholarships being offered to you through Clackamas Community College. Complete and submit the CCC scholarship application to apply for these scholarships. Please include a personal statement, current unofficial academic transcript and two (2) current letters of recommendation (written within the last year). All completed applications should be returned to your high school's Counseling Office by February 1st to be considered for these three scholarships. Your high school counselors will select Honors, Opportunity and Academic Incentive recipients.

The High School Academic Incentive Scholarship


Amount: Full tuition for one term (fall, winter or spring).

Purpose: To recognize a graduating senior from each high school in the college district.

Criteria:
• Student must include in their application a current high school transcript showing a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Student must enroll at CCC for 12 or more credit hours.
• Fill out the CCC scholarship application and include everything the application asks for.

The High School Opportunity Scholarship


Amount: Up to $2,000 in tuition for the upcoming academic year.

Purpose: To recognize an outstanding graduating senior with special needs from each high school in the college district.

Criteria:
• Student must include in their application a current high school transcript showing a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Student must enroll at CCC for 12 or more credit hours.
• Fill out the CCC scholarship application and include everything the application asks for.
• Student must face one or more barriers to success in higher education (physical disability, language barrier, first in family to attend college, ethnicity, financial need, etc.).


The High School Honors Scholarship


Amount: Up to $2,000 in tuition for the upcoming academic year.

Purpose: To recognize an academically talented student from each high school in the college district.

Criteria:
• Student must include in their application a current high school transcript showing a minimum GPA of 3.25.
• Student must enroll at CCC for 12 or more credit hours.
• Fill out the CCC scholarship application and include everything the application asks for.

After the high school selection process all of the applications will be forwarded to Clackamas Community College to be included in a selection process for additional Clackamas Community College scholarships. Click on the CCC Listing of Scholarships to see those additional scholarships. Your completed application may need additional documentation for other Clackamas Community scholarships. It is very important that you take the time to thoroughly read the requirements for each of the scholarships so that you do not overlook any item or required documents.
If you miss your high school deadline, you may submit your scholarship application, either in person or by mail, to:

All applications must be received by 5 p.m. on March 1st. (All mailed applications must be postmarked no later than 5 p.m. March 1st to be accepted.) Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

High schools in the CCC Service District:
Canby High School, Clackamas High School, Colton High School, Estacada High School, Gladstone High School, Milwaukie High School, Oregon City High School, Rex Putnam High School, West Linn High School, Wilsonville High School, LaSalle High School, (Country Christian and North Clackamas Christian are eligible for the Academic Incentive Scholarship only).

If you are a high school senior not attending one of the above schools you can still fill out the scholarship application available on this website and turn it in to the Scholarship Coordinator located in Rook Hall on the Oregon City campus of the college. You will be considered for any and all of the scholarships that you meet the criteria for.
