Enrollment Verification

The National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) is our authorized agent for providing enrollment and degree verifications.

Enrollment Verifications can be presented to health insurance agencies, housing authorities, consumer product companies, and banks, as well as many other requesting agencies. Please note that you may need to order an official transcript if you need your GPA or grades reported.

To obtain Enrollment Verification for credit classes, log into CougarTrax (via myClackamas) at http://my.clackamas.edu . The Enrollment Verification link will direct you to the National Student Clearinghouse log-in. You will be asked to enter your name, birth date and your SSN.

You will be able to use this option if you:

• Are or have taken credit classes
• Have given CCC your SSN

Note: CCC sends updated enrollment information bi-weekly to the National Student Clearinghouse. Please see Frequently Asked Questions for additional information regarding CCC enrollment submissions to the NSC.

NSC Log-In Screen
From CougarTrax the enrollment verification link will take you to a log-in screen with NSC. You will enter your student name, date of birth, and SSN. Please note that the middle initial is optional.

Reasons you may not be able to use CougarTrax to obtain an Enrollment Verification:

• Need to verify non-credit or CEU classes
• CCC doesn’t have a valid SSN for you
• You have changed your registration and need a verification right away

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What if I am not able to obtain an enrollment verification via CougarTrax?
You may not be able to obtain a verification if you didn’t give CCC your SSN or took community ed classes. Please contact the Registrar’s Office, or you can come in person to the Enrollment Services Center in Roger Rook Hall.

2. What if the agency requires the Registrar’s signature?
Most agencies have been notified of our contract with the National Student Clearinghouse and will recognize the enrollment verifications from NSC. If you encounter a problem with an agency, please call 503-657-6958 ext 2260.

3. I printed an Enrollment Verification but I am not sure it is correct. Who do I contact?
Please remember that it takes several days before changes to your enrollment are recorded with the National Student Clearinghouse.

4. What if I am attending more than one institution?
Colleges and Universities submit enrollment information to the National Student Clearinghouse each term. Please check with other colleges you are attending for their submission schedule.

Please note that you will need to obtain an enrollment verification from each institution that you are attending.
