‘Beyond Demos IV’ Opens in Alexander Gallery

“Beyond Demos IV” opens in the Alexander Gallery at CCC on Monday, Aug. 17 and continues through Oct. 2. An artist’s reception will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 3 to 6 p.m.

“Beyond Demos IV” is a group show that includes painting, photography, ceramics and mixed media. The exhibition features the work of teachers who are members of the Oregon Art Education Association: Lynn Pass, West Linn High School; Shannon McBride, Lakeridge High School; Sara Bailey, North Marion High School; Linda W. Kieling, Rosemont Ridge Middle School; Mary Burgess, David Douglas High School; Kelda Van Patten, Hillsboro High School; Anne Goodrich, Sunset High School; Jan Glenn, Lewis and Clark College; and Christopher Shotola-Hardt, Wilsonville High School.

The Alexander Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and during special events in the Niemeyer Center.

The gallery is open by appointment only Aug. 17 – Sept. 4.
