CCC’s International Week Celebration runs May 3 - 6

Experience China, France, Mexico, Russia and other cultures through music, short plays, dancing and more during the International Week Celebration at Clackamas Community College May 3–6. The Foreign Language Department and International Education Committee host the annual CCC International Celebration in cooperation with the ESL and Counseling and Advising Depts. The festival runs daily from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in CCC’s Community Center. Highlights include: • Africa, presented by English instructor Kate Gray, Tuesday, May 4, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. in CC 127 • Oaxacan Art & Sculpture, presented by art instructor Katy McFadden, Tuesday, May 4, from noon to 12:25 p.m. in CC 127 • The Ancient Mayan Calendars: An Obsession with Time, presented by social sciences instructor Robert Keeler, Wednesday, May 5, from 11 to 11:40 a.m. in CC 127 • Cinco de Mayo Celebration - Lo Nuestro Dance presentation by Ballet Folklorico, with students from Oregon schools and PSU, Wednesday, May 5, from 12:10 to 1 p.m. The International Celebration is free to attend and is open to the public.
