New Dean of Campus Services Named

Bob Cochran was named the new dean of Campus Services by the Clackamas Community College Board of Education at its regular February meeting on Wednesday. Cochran is the director of Public Works for the city of Fairview. He will replace Bill Leach, who retired from the college at the end of 2009. The dean of Campus Services supervises a staff of about 50 employees, and oversees college facilities, grounds, custodial services, duplication, shipping and receiving, environmental and campus safety, and emergency response operations. Cochran has worked in facilities management, public works and engineering for 19 years including service for private companies and city administration. He worked for the city of Fairview for 13 years, first as the city engineer and as director of Public Works since 2001. He has an engineering degree from Portland State University and worked as an engineer in private industry before joining the staff in Fairview.
