CCC Hosts Farmer-Chef Connection

The 10th annual Farmer-Chef Connection, linking local food products and buyers, will take place at Clackamas Community College on Monday, March 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Gregory Forum. This conference is co-hosted by the Portland Chefs Collaborative and Friends of Family Farmers. The keynote speaker is Nicolette Hahn Niman, author of “Righteous Porkchop” and recent board member for the national Chefs Collaborative organization. This event provides networking opportunities, workshops and educational information. It also includes a catered lunch with locally grown products provided by area farmers and prepared by local chefs.
