CCC Celebrates International Women’s Day

Clackamas Community College marks International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 14. The event, which will include a panel discussion of women’s role in society, and the opportunities and challenges they face, will take place in the McLoughlin Auditorium from noon to 3:30 p.m.

International Women's Day is marked on March 8 every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic political and social achievements of women.

The International Women’s Day at CCC is sponsored by the Latin American Lyrical Club of Washington and Oregon. The free event will be in both English and Spanish. It will include a painting exhibition by artist Patricia Ponciano and a reception.
