Integrated Pest Management

Integrated pest management is a strategy that combines sanitation and cultural, biological and mechanical controls to reduce pest populations. Examples include using pest-resistant plants, maintaining landscapes and spraying. Integrated pest management decides the best course of action for pest control while reducing the environmental and economic impacts.

The college will provide 24-hour notice of planned pesticide applications. The notice will remain in effect for 72 hours post-application, except in cases of emergency.

    May 24 Pesticide Application

    Pesticide application planned for Friday, May 24, 5-7 p.m.
    Western Exterminator technicians will be applying Advion Ant Gel EPA No. 352-746 and Arilon EPA No. 352-776 inside and outside the Family Resource Center and Art Center. Re-entry is 30 minutes after application.

  • May 28

    May 28 Pesticide Application

    Pesticide application planned for Tuesday, May 28, 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
    Staff will be spraying Ranger Pro EPA No. 524-579 on the Oregon City campus' Barlow lot, welding facility and beds behind the Dye Learning Center and Streeter Hall. Re-entry after application is dry.

    May 29 Pesticide Application

    Pesticide application planned for Wednesday, May 29
    Staff will be spraying turf weeds with Speedzone EPA No. 2217-833 outside the Wilsonville campus (7-9 a.m.) and Harmony campus (10 a.m.-1 p.m.). Re-entry after application is dry.
