• 2015 Graduation Information

  • It's that time of year!

    Summer is just around the corner, which means it's time for graduation! Come celebrate your success at CCC and the beginning of a new chapter in your life at this year's graduation ceremonies on June 11 and 12.

    CCC holds two graduation ceremonies each year to accommodate all of the friends and families that come to cheer on the students!

    Important Graduation Information

    Thursday - June 11, 2015 at 7 p.m.

    • Thursday's graduation is for students earning their GED/Adult High School Diploma (AHSD).
    • GED & AHSD Rehearsal - June 10 at 3 p.m. in Randall Gym.

    Confirm GED/AHSD Ceremony Attendance  

    Friday - June 12, 2015 at 7 p.m.

    • Friday's graduation is for our students earning a CCC Degree or Certificate
    • Certificate & Degree Rehearsal - June 11 at 3 p.m. in the Randall Gym

    Make sure you’re on track to reach your graduation goals by checking in with CCC’s Graduation Services. CCC’s graduation services team can help you reach your goals, all you need to do is ask! Contact them today if you have questions.

    Seating Information

    Both graduation ceremonies are held in Randall Hall. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis and doors will close when capacity is reached. 

    CCC provides reserved seating for guests with mobility issues — the guest and one family member or friend is welcome to sit in the reserved seating for the duration of the ceremony.

    Guests are encouraged to arrive early in order to find seating in Randall. Additional seating and live streaming of the ceremonies will be available in the Gregory Forum and McLoughlin Theater to accommodate all guests.

    Can't make it to the ceremony?

    Don’t worry, both the Certificate/Degree and GED/AHSD commencement ceremonies will be streamed live for those unable to attend in person. The link for live streaming will be available on the day of each ceremony.

Bond Citizen Oversight Committee to Meet

The initial meeting of the Bond Projects Citizen Oversight Committee will take place on Wednesday, April 22, at Clackamas Community College. The committee will provide oversight to the implementation of ballot measure 3-447, approved by voters in November.  Full Story

Board Resolution Authorizes Bond Sale

The Board of Education at its April meeting passed a resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds to finance capital construction at Clackamas Community College. Voters in the district in November approved a $90 million bond measure to update and modernize college facilities. Full Story

Talented Authors Converge at ‘Compose’ Creative Writing Conference

Rafael Alvarez, journalist and television writer for “The Wire,” is the keynote speaker at the Compose creative writing conference at Clackamas Community College on Saturday, May 2.  Full Story
