Academic Advising and Education Planning

At CCC, we believe that academic advising is key to your success in college. Having a clear path toward your degree and career goals can save you time and money so you won't be taking classes you don't need. We recommend you visit an advisor in the middle of each term to prepare for the following term. We also encourage you to stop by when you have questions about your education.

New Students

  • First-time college students: Sign up to attend a New Student Advising session
  • Students transferring to CCC: Drop-in to meet with an academic advisor at any of our three campuses

Drop-in vs. scheduled appointments

Meeting with an Academic and Career Coach during drop-in hours is the best way to get most of your questions are answered. Drop-ins are 15-20 minutes and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Academic alert
  • Short-term educational plan (1-2 terms)
