Academic Standing Policy
All degree- or certificate-seeking students will be required to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and complete at least 50% of their attempted credits each term they are enrolled in six or more credits. (Credits attempted does not include credits dropped prior to the sixth week of the term or credits changed to audit.) Students receiving financial aid or who are enrolled in programs with additional academic performance requirements will be subject to higher academic standing criteria.
You will be evaluated at the end of each term for academic standing. A notification will be sent to your student email account from the registrar if you do not meet academic standing requirements.
Academic Alert
Term GPA is below 2.00 and/or not passing at least 50% of attempted credits for one term when enrolled in six or more credits.
When placed on academic alert, this is your first warning. You are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor and take advantage of academic support resources (PDF) to assist with areas of concern.
