Integrated Pest Management
Integrated pest management is a strategy that combines sanitation and cultural, biological and mechanical controls to reduce pest populations. Examples include using pest-resistant plants, maintaining landscapes and spraying. Integrated pest management decides the best course of action for pest control while reducing the environmental and economic impacts.
The college will provide 24-hour notice of planned applications. The notice will remain in effect for 72 hours post-application, except in cases of emergency.

September 13th-October 13th Weed Control Application (Oregon City, Wilsonville and Harmony campuses)
We will be using Ranger-Pro EPA# 524-517 to control weeds and grasses on the Oregon City-Wilsonville-Harmony campuses September 13th- October 13th. We will post signage in the areas to be treated 24hrs prior to treatments. Re-entry when dry. -
Oct 1 2024To Nov 1
October 1st-November 1st (Oregon City, Wilsonville and Harmony campuses)
Tuesday, October 1st through Friday, November 1st we will be using SpeedZone EPA# 2217-833 to control broadleaf weeds in the turf on all three campuses as weather allows. Signage will be posted in the areas to be treated 24 hours prior to the treatment. Safe re-entry when dry. -
Pesticide Application (Wilsonville campus)
Staff will be using Fastrac Soft Bait traps throughout the campus exterior (not in the building). The active ingredient is Bromethalin and the EPA No. is 12455-149
