Integrated Pest Management

Integrated pest management is a strategy that combines sanitation and cultural, biological and mechanical controls to reduce pest populations. Examples include using pest-resistant plants, maintaining landscapes and spraying. Integrated pest management decides the best course of action for pest control while reducing the environmental and economic impacts.

The college will provide 24-hour notice of planned applications. The notice will remain in effect for 72 hours post-application, except in cases of emergency.

    Weed control application Sept. 26 - Oct. 26 (Oregon City, Wilsonville and Harmony campuses)

    We will be using Ranger Pro EPA# 524-517 to control weeds and grasses in the bed areas of the Oregon City, Wilsonville and Harmony campuses September 26th through October 26th. The areas to be treated will be posted 24 hours prior to treatments. Re- entry when dry.

    Weed control application Sept. 29 - Oct. 29 (Oregon City campus)

    We will be using SpeedZone EPA# 62719-833 to control weeds in the turf on the Oregon City Campus September 29th through October 29th. We will post signage in the areas to be treated 24hrs prior to treatments. Re-entry when dry.
