Academic Calendar

Full-term classes (11 weeks)

• Final exams and meetings are held the last week of each term at the scheduled final
  exam/meeting time, as outlined below.
• The instructor can choose to use the scheduled final week time for purposes other than a final
  exam (e.g., presentations), but classes must meet during the final week of the term at the
  scheduled final exam/meeting time.
• Online classes require student-instructor interaction during the final week of the term.

Classes meeting only once a week, including weekend classes

• The final exam/meeting will be held during the regular class meeting time in the final week.

Weekday classes meeting two or three times a week starting at 5 p.m. or later

• Regular class scheduling is replaced by the final exam/meeting schedule shown below.
• The final exam/meeting will be held on the first scheduled regular class meeting time during final week. For example, classes meeting T/TH, the final exam/meeting will be held on Tuesday.

Notes

1. No student will be required to take more than two back-to-back exams.
   
2. No student will be required to take more than three exams in one day.
   
3. Students may select which course’s final exam/meeting to reschedule if item number 1 or 2 occurs. Students will schedule make-up exams/meetings with the instructor.
   
4. Students taking online classes having on-campus final exams/meetings conflicting with regular on-
   campus final exams/meetings will make alternative arrangements with their online class instructor.
   
5. Final exams and meetings will be held during the final week unless otherwise approved.

Non-full-term classes (those meeting fewer than 11 weeks)

• Final exams and meetings are held for the last scheduled class meeting.
• The instructor can choose to use the last scheduled class meeting for purposes other than a final
  exam (e.g., presentations), but classes will meet the last scheduled class meeting.

*The final week schedule is subject to change if circumstances such as college closure occur and make-up of class time is necessary.
