Artist’s reception for “Homespun” is Jan. 15 at noon

 A sculpture exhibit by CCC art instructor Kate Simmons opens Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the Alexander Gallery with an artist’s reception and lecture taking place on Jan. 15 from noon to 1:30 p.m. “Homespun” is an exhibition of approximately 15 recent sculptural works by Kate that depict abstract portraits of individuals and animals while interweaving them with narrative. The exhibit runs Jan. 15  through Feb. 11.
