Take College Classes at CCC

Expanded Options / Early College

Expanded Options/Early College allows you to take classes at a CCC campus or online. Classes are paid for by your school district/high school. If approved by your high school, Expanded Options students can earn college credit that transfers back to your high school to fulfill high school graduation requirements. You must be referred by their school district/high school to participate.

Career Technical Education Pathways (CTEP)

High school students can participate in hands-on Career Technical Education (CTE) classes with other high school and college students. Classes are paid for by your high school/school district and priority registration is given to participating high schools. You must be referred by your high school to participate.

It is important to take classes that apply to your CCC degree or that will transfer to other colleges. We recommend meeting with the High School Connections advisor at CCC to create your college plan before you choose your classes.
