Welcome to fall term at CCC! As we transition to having many services available in person again, we still want to offer these online options and resources to help you get connected. Explore the information on this page for an introduction to student life at CCC and lots of ways to get involved.

    Advising

    At CCC, we believe that academic advising is key to your success in college. Having a clear path toward your degree and career goals can save you time and money so you won't be taking classes you don't need.

    Associated Student Government

    Students helping students! ASG is here to represent and support students at CCC. Stop by a meeting (every Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. through Zoom) or any event, and learn how to get involved. Visit our website to learn more about how we can make your college experience a great one!

    Associated Student Government Grants

    CCC's Associated Student Government (ASG) offers a variety of small grants to help students meet their goals and graduate. The funds are provided thanks to donations to the college's Foundation, as well as ASG and Horticulture Department fundraisers. Applications are accepted online before each term.

    Bookstore

     

    The college bookstore is open in person on the Oregon City campus and online for textbooks, CCC gear and supplies for your classes. Visit the bookstore website at clackamas.bncollege.com for the most accurate information. For all questions, contact the bookstore at 503-594-6500. You may also email the bookstore at sm8278@bncollege.com. Note: The Harmony Bookstore is currently closed.

     

    Career Center

    The Career Center is your one-stop resource for career and employment services where you can receive one-on-one coaching for any phase of your career path. Whether you are just getting started or want to make a change, we can help you choose a program, develop a plan, and find your dream job.

      The Clackamas Print

      Are you interested in writing, photography or the news? Maybe you should take a journalism class. Check out some of the work that students do at theclackamasprint.com. We publish a physical newspaper and publish all of our work online and on social media. We have students cover everything from Justin Timberlake concerts to the Portland Timbers to COVID vaccination clinics. Interested? Enroll in J-215 or stop by our lab in Pauling 151 on the Oregon City campus.

        College Relations and Marketing

        The College Relations and Marketing team welcomes you to fall term. We are here for you to help you stay connected and informed! Check out resources and information for fall term on the Student Resources page and check myClackamas for the latest updates, opportunities and virtual events for students.

        Counseling

        At Clackamas Community College, we take mental health and wellness seriously. That’s why we offer free counseling services to our students. We can help if you’re struggling and in need of therapy, advice or resources.

        Disability Resource Center

        The Disability Resource Center (DRC) provides services that are designed to support student success by creating a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment. If you have a history of receiving accommodations or just have questions on how to qualify for services, we welcome you to call or email so we can assist you.

        Drug and Alcohol Prevention

        CCC is committed to maintaining a drug-free institution to create a safe and healthful campus and work environment and to assist its students and employees who may have problems with drugs or alcohol.

        Financial Aid and Scholarships

        Financial aid is available to help you achieve your educational goals. The CCC Financial Aid Office provides access to grants, scholarships, work-study and loans to help pay for school. You must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year you attend college to qualify to receive financial aid. The FAFSA is available starting Oct. 1 each year and must be completed annually.

        Free Food Pantry

        The Free Food Pantry aims to supplement food needs and is open to CCC students. You can visit the Food Pantry Monday-Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or call 503-594-3040. Contact asgfrontdesk@clackamas.edu with any questions.

        Hazing Awareness

        Hazing is not allowed or tolerated at CCC. If you experience (or have) experienced hazing, please speak up. Complaints may be presented to any College administrator who will immediately notify the College official responsible for investigations.

        Library

        The CCC Library provides user-friendly research tools, relevant resources, customized library instruction and welcoming, inclusive spaces for the CCC community. We have a lot to offer - let us know how we can help you! The Library resources are still available online while the campus is closed.

        Multicultural Center

        The Multicultural Center (MCC) provides resources, services, and advocacy that address the specific needs of historically marginalized people, including international students. The MCC also hosts monthly programs and opportunities for the College community to gather and celebrate the diversity that is Clackamas Community College. Students from historically marginalized populations are encouraged to join a leadership role within the MCC.

        Whatever you need, we'll do our best to support you!

        Music Department

        CCC's Music Department offers in-person performance opportunities for music majors, non-majors and community members alike - even online! Vocalists and instrumentalists can register for chamber or mainstream choir, wind ensemble, jazz band, classical guitar ensemble and more. Students can also explore the production side of music with tech classes in audio recording and electronic music creation.

        Transportation services are available to you through the Transportation Office at CCC.

        Tutoring (online)

        The Tutoring Center offers a welcoming environment for students to get the academic support they need to be successful.  We have lots of options for online tutoring through WCOnline, Zoom, and Smarthinking.

        Workforce Development

        • Did you lose your job or did your hours get reduced due to COVID-19?
        • Are you in need of job search assistance/resume creation/interview practice?
        • Are you interested in learning about potential grant funds for tuition, books or transportation?
        • Needing assistance and/or support?

        CCC's Workforce Development Services supports employment in the community by providing education and training resources, and connecting with business partnerships. We provide opportunities to individuals and employers while promoting equity, inclusiveness and respect.

        As part of the WorkSource Oregon network of experts across the state, our goal is to develop a highly skilled workforce that creates economic prosperity in Clackamas County. Our Workforce Advisors connect people, especially unemployed and underemployed workers, to career development and support services with on-the-job training in growing, high-demand fields like manufacturing, healthcare and technology. A successful career starts here!

        Taking part in a club can be a fun part of your college experience. You can meet new people, develop your leadership skills and contribute to the college community.

        Clubs are still active! Did you know that Clackamas Community College has student clubs and organizations that range from global activism to student nursing to faith-based and political groups? Don't see one that interests you? Start your own in just a few easy steps!

        We want to help you connect to other students who share the same or similar interests. You can start a club and get others to join you, or you can just make some new friends. Fill out this form and someone will be in touch!

        Alpha Xi Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa

        Chess Club

        The purpose of the Chess club is to provide variety in the clubs that are offered at Clackamas Community College that may interest students.

        The primary goal of this club is to help empower peers by promoting interaction as well as introductory lessons, using Chess.com, YouTube and the collective knowledge of the club.

        Horticulture

        The purpose of the Horticulture club is to enhance horticulture education, develop leadership skills of members and provide networking opportunities for students.

        Student Nurses' Association

        The purpose of Student Nurses' Association is to influence health care, nursing education and practice through legislative activities, as appropriate. To promote and encourage participation in community affairs and activities towards improved health care and the resolution of related social issues. To represent nursing students to the consumer, to institutions, and to other organizations.

        Tree Climbing Club

        The purpose of the club is to create a safe space to practice tree climbing techniques and other associated practices. We will adhere to the ANSI Safety Standards and current industry best practices.

        Welding Club

        The Welding Club is a great outlet if you love welding or building things or are interested in the Welding Department at CCC. The Welding Club works together on art projects and community service.
