CCC Seeks Applicants for Budget Committee

OREGON CITY - Help make a difference in higher education. The Clackamas Community College Budget Committee is seeking two new citizen representatives, one from Happy Valley and one from the Canby and Molalla area.

The budget committee meets each spring to deliberate on the proposed budget and approve it, before sending it to the CCC Board of Education for approval. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.

The budget committee includes the CCC Board of Education and seven volunteers appointed by the board for three-year terms. Budget committee members represent each of the college's six zones. The current openings are for Zone 2 (Happy Valley) and Zone 7 (Canby and Molalla). Applicants must be registered voters and reside in the zone for which they are applying. Applications must be received by Nov. 9 and committee members will be announced Dec.14.
