CCC hosts job fair, resource fair and education showcase

OREGON CITY - Clackamas Community College is hosting a number of events on June 1 for those looking to start their educational journey, those interested in learning about becoming a teacher, or those who are looking for jobs in manufacturing or welding.

Student Resource Fair

Prospective, new and current students are invited to attend a Student Resource Fair from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Wacheno Welcome Center. Participants will learn about the variety of student services available at CCC, like financial aid, registration, advising, the VET Center, the Disability Resource Center, the food pantry and more. Staff will be available to answer any questions about starting or continuing an educational journey at CCC. Participants will be entered to win one of 25 free tuition waivers, valued at $444 each. Manufacturing and Welding Job Fair

CCC is also hosting a job fair for people looking for employment in the welding and manufacturing industries. This event is from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Holden Industrial Technology Center. Local businesses that are looking to hire staff will be in attendance. Participants are encouraged to bring their resumes and connect with local employers who are hiring for over 400 open positions. Education Showcase

For those interested in pursuing a career in the field of teaching and early childhood education, CCC is hosting a networking event from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Gregory Forum. Participants will meet advisors and instructors and learn about potential employers, transfer schools and career opportunities. Fifty tuition waivers will be given away during this event.
