Learn welding at Clackamas Community College (CCC) and prepare for a career in a high-demand field. Choose from a variety of welding programs to fit your goals and schedule. Get started with an introductory welding course (available in English or Spanish). You can earn a career pathway certificate in just six months or continue on to earn your associate degree.
CCC’s programs are hands-on and designed to prepare you for multiple industry-recognized welding certifications. You will learn from certified welding professionals with real-world experience. Our programs align with American Welding Society (AWS) standards and the needs of employers.
High school welding program
For students still in high school, we offer a number of regional high school programs on our Oregon City campus. The high school program offers introductory courses in welding. Students can learn one of the following welding techniques: Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick), Gas Metal Arc Welding/Flux Core Arc Welding (Wirefeed), or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
