Associated Student Government Grants
CCC's Associated Student Government (ASG) offers a variety of small
grants to help students meet their goals and graduate. The funds are
provided thanks to donations to the college's Foundation, and ASG.
Applications are accepted online before each term.
Grant recipients are selected through an evaluation process based on many factors, including financial need, grades, credit hours and more. The amount of money awarded varies due to the number of applicants and the funds available. Receiving a grant one term does not guarantee that you will receive a grant another term as not everyone who applies will receive assistance. You must apply for each term, separately within the deadline periods listed.
Please note: Federal financial aid regulations require you to report any sources of income or assistance that you receive during the school year that total $100 or more to the Financial Aid Office. ASG will notify the Financial Aid Office of any funds you receive from this application. If you have questions about the impact of the grant on your aid package, please contact the Financial Aid Office in Wacheno Welcome Center or call 503-594-6082.

To receive a gas gift card for gas purchases, you must be registered for carpooling through GetThereOregon and provide the name(s) of your carpool partner(s).
The Fees Grant funds may be used for tuition and fees on your CCC student account. Funds will be administered through Financial Aid in your student account.
To be eligible for a grant, your child(ren) must be placed with a state certified and approved childcare provider or facility. Only one grant can be awarded per child.

This grant is awarded as a $100 grant that will be distributed via prepaid/electronic gas card and will be emailed 3-5 business days after grant acceptance and email confirmation. You must be registered for the current term. You may apply even if you have received other ASG grant funding this term. Students are eligible for one (1) gas card per term.
The Materials Grant awards $50 for required materials such as textbooks, calculators, welding, mechanic, or art supplies, or any needed supplies for the classes you are currently enrolled in. You must be registered for the current term and registered for a course requiring the requested materials. Funds can be sent to the CCC bookstore or reimbursed after purchase by submitting a receipt.
